Nyakans FC ended the unbeaten run of MARZ United with a 1-0 victory on Saturday, but they lost 1-0 to Medstars on Sunday, leaving them in third place with 9 points.
Panthers played two games over the weekend and won both. They beat Mac Millan 1-0 and Al Hilal 2-1, marking three consecutive wins for them in the league. Now, they're in fourth place with 9 points, but their goal difference is -4.
Juja FC and Tsunami faced off over the weekend, resulting in a 1-1 draw. Tsunami's center back, Tito, scored their goal, while Juja's captain, Caicedo, netted through a penalty. Juja are currently unbeaten and sits in 5th place with 8 points. Next weekend, they will face defending champions Commerce on Saturday and the newly formed side MFC on Sunday.
Tsunami FC are currently in 7th place with 7 points. Next, they will play against KAYA FC and Olympics FC on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Sharks FC regained their momentum with a solid 2-0 win against Kaya FC. Isaac Baya, popularly known as Auba, was the hero of the match, scoring both goals for the team. Sharks FC currently are in 10th place with 6 points. Looking ahead, they have challenging fixtures against Olympics FC and league leaders Marz United next weekend.
The newly formed MFC played to a 2-2 draw against Magic 90 over the weekend. Their goals came from winger Martin Mulinge and center forward Ben Muthoni. Despite the draw, they now sit in 8th place with seven points. Next weekend they will face Assins FC on Saturday and Juja on Sunday.
Magic 90 had a weekend to forget playing against the newly formed side MFC and Macmillan. Both matches ended in 2-2 draws. The absence of their goalkeeper, Benaa, was a significant setback for them.
